PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Tobia Scarpa originally produced this decorative bowl in silver in 1998. We’ve reproduced it in white epoxy-coated steel, providing the same stunning effect at a price affordable to all. Made of epoxy-coated steel. Clean with a damp non-abrasive cloth. Minimize exposure to water.

Tobia Scarpa, an innovative and experimental Italian designer, is an advocate of doing what feels right. Scarpa’s design mindset is built on an appreciation for exquisite materials and a basic understanding of a need for comfortable yet tasteful designs.

ABOUT TOBIA SCARPA
In 1969, Tobia Scarpa earned a degree in architecture form the Università di Venezia. The same year, he won the ‘Compasso d’Oro’ award for the ‘Soriana’ easy chair. Some of the objects Scarpa has designed are exhibited in the most important museums worldwide, beginning with the ‘Libertà’ chair at the Louvre in Paris. Scarpa works with public and private clients, such as the Benetton Group, for whom he designed the entire complex in the industrial area of Castrette di Villorba (Treviso). Since 2002 he has taught in the Design Department of the Istituto Universitario di Architettura in Venice.
